Tirzepatide 7.5 mg KwikPen is a once-weekly injectable medication used for the management of type 2 diabetes and, in certain approvals, for chronic weight management. It works as a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, helping increase insulin secretion when blood glucose levels are elevated, reduce glucagon release, slow gastric emptying, and decrease appetite. The 7.5 mg dose is typically a step-up maintenance dose after lower starting doses to improve glycemic control and support further weight reduction. In addition to lowering HbA1c, it may also contribute to improved cardiovascular risk factors. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, and abdominal discomfort, and it should be used under medical supervision.
