Netupitant 300 mg with Palonosetron 0.5 mg is a combination medicine used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy. Netupitant blocks NK1 (neurokinin-1) receptors, while palonosetron blocks 5-HT3 (serotonin) receptors; together, they provide long-lasting protection against both acute and delayed chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. This dual-action combination helps improve patient comfort, supports better tolerance of chemotherapy, and reduces the need for additional anti-nausea medicines. It is usually taken before chemotherapy as prescribed by a doctor and is especially beneficial in patients receiving moderately to highly emetogenic chemotherapy.
